Review: Celeteque Facial Wash and Exfoliating Wash

I'm back again...well, just for the time being since my "hiatus" isn't really over yet. I'm bored with my daily routine right now, so I decided to make a review because I already miss blogging.

After using Celeteque facial wash and exfoliating wash (I'm already finished with this) for a few months, I think it's time to make a review about this.

Celeteque Facial Wash with NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor)

many of us here in the Philippines know that this facial wash is comparable to the Cetaphil facial wash. The only difference is that Celeteque is the more affordable local version of Cetaphil, but in my opinion, this facial wash works a TAD better than Cetaphil (Why? because I used my son's Cetaphil just for comparison)

Formula:
- a bit more runny when kept at room temp. compared to normal facial washes and to Cetaphil, but I usually put my Celeteque facial wash and exfoliating wash in the fridge because I feel like it works better. I'll explain further in the next picture.

As you can see, the directions for use and proper storage of the product ("store below 30C") is indicated in the box (and at the back of the actual tube, so you could throw away the box if you want to.)

Why do I put my Celeteque in the fridge? our usual normal room temp. here in the Philippines will not suffice the indicated temp. storage of at least 30C or less. This instruction is not really compulsory if you don't want to follow it, but I felt that I got to maximize the full potential of the product when I did this.

the description of what I actually need in a facial wash is already written on the box and on the tube.

Price:
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is P149.00 for a 60ml tube. They have bigger sizes of their products too.

Scent:
- Even if it says that it's "fragrance free" there is still a very faint scent that I can only describe as "soapy"

Pros:
- did not cause breakouts.
- did not made my skin very tight and dry like other facial washes I've used in the past.
- it's more effective in cleansing makeup residues from my face than Cetaphil which did nothing to remove makeup residues from my face.
- very affordable and readily available in almost every drugstore and Watsons.
- a little goes a long way. This 60ml lasted me for more than 6 months of washing my face every night and sometime at daytime (I use a soap from the derma at daytime), everyday.
- still gives you just a tiny bit of "foaming action". This is a good thing for a paranoid like me who is already used to facial washes that foams.

Cons:
- If you're not used to this, you may find yourself rinsing your face over and over again because it kinda leaves a slippery feel on the skin. Do not panick though. Once you've dried your face, your face will not feel slippery, but it will look and feel clean.

the ingredients. This is the only thing not written on the tube. Almost the same ingredients as Cetaphil.

It also indicates the expiry date of the product. A very important information to give to consumers.

Celeteque Gentle Exfoliating Wash with Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads
I will not review this as thoroughly as the facial wash because this is actually just the same as the Celeteque facial wash. The only difference with this is that it has beads for exfoliating.

the description is almost the same as the facial wash except for the exfoliating beads thingy.

ingredients also the same, but with beads.

description, the same

the directions and the storage temp. is the same

Price:
I don't think this has the same price as the facial wash, but the price range of this exfoliating wash in 60ml is not that far from the price range of the facial wash. I believe this is still under P200 price range.

Formula and Scent:
still the same with the facial wash.

Pros:
did not cause breakouts.

Cons:
- the beads are too sparse for my liking, hence it isn't really that useful for exfoliating. Unless, your have a really, really, really sensitive skin. More sensitive than mine, then maybe this is for you.

PIECE OF ADVISE:
- if your going to purchase the facial wash and the exfoliating wash, just purchase the facial wash and buy a  muzlin cloth or an exfoliating rubber pad like this (refer to the picture below)

(should I make a review about this? by the way, this works amazingly on my skin!)

Long Review: Etude House Mini Size U Pore Smoothing Serum (Set)

Even before my skin recovered from the massive breakouts I had for almost 6 months, I've already been eyeing the Etude House Mini Size U products. Now, that I can use other skincare products besides that medications that I still use from the derma from time to time, I grabbed the opportunity to try this.

Etude House Mini Size U Pore Smoothing Serum
(comes with a sample size of the emulsion and toner)

Current Price:
P578.00

Where:
SM North Edsa The Block

It's not the best skincare out there like what I've read on other reviews, but I'm not looking for a miracle product. I'm just looking for a simple moisturizer or serum that would suffice on moisturizing/hydrating the dry areas of my face. I don't even need skin lightening or anti-aging properties that always disappoint. I just want something that won't worsen my skin.

Active Ingredients:

(I was happy to see the "rice" ingredient because I've tried products with rice extracts in it (even brown rice tea) and it has always worked for my body.)

Other Ingredients:

I know that the main purpose of this product is minimizing pores and smoothing the skin, but I'm not really using this for that purpose, I'm using this because, in my experience, this is perfect for people with oily-combination, sensitive skin.

Mini Size U Serum
I use this sometimes in the morning, but this is better used at night in my opinion. I only apply this in the morning if I will apply makeup because this is a great face primer.

Color:
- milky white.

Smell:
- reminds me very much of Johnson's Baby Lotion.

Consistency & Texture:
- almost like a gel cream and the texture is very light.
blends into a matte finish.

Comments:

Pros:
- did not cause breakouts or any kind of bad reaction.
- has a subtle scent that I like.
- nice packaging.
- absorbs quickly in the skin.
- not oily and blends in the skin matte.
- moisturize the dry areas of my skin quite well.
- it can also act as a primer because your skin feels soft, so smooth after applying this.
- did not made my my skin oily for the whole day which surprises me because by midday especially every summer, my face is like an oil mine.
- a little goes a long, long way. I've been using this for almost 2 months now and it's still almost full.

Cons:
- not enough for super dry skin.
- for those who don't like a glass bottle packaging, this is not for you.

Mini Size U Emulsion (sample size)
I'm almost finished with this product. This is what I use often in the morning than the serum. I think this is great as a morning moisturizer than a night moisturizer.

Color:
- like a faded milky white.

Smell:
- like Johnson's Baby Lotion, but this has a more subtle smell than the Mini Size U serum.

Consistency&Texture:
- like a light gel and has a watery texture.
I like this because it's like I'm blending "water" on my face.

Comments:

Pros:
- did not cause breakouts or any bad reaction.
- I love this because it feels like you're applying water on the face.
- absorbs quickly in the skin and also blends in matte.
- subtle smell.
- great emulsion for hot days like summer.
- not oily and it did not made my face oily for the whole day.
- the full size bottle of this looks simple, but elegant looking.

Cons:
- I have to apply more in moisturizing super dry areas of my face. (not really a con, just a heads up.)
- those who don't like a glass bottle packaging, this is not for you.

Mini Size U Toner
it's a 2-part solution as you can see in the picture (liquid on top and the "powder" at the bottom). You have to shake it before using. Until now, I'm wondering what that powder is...

I'm not really a fan of toners because I don't think that I need a toner and my dermatologist said that there's no point in using a toner if your facial cleanser is already doing a great job, but I still like using this especially since the Etude House Milktea Cleansing Cream isn't that good at removing all the makeup on my face.

Color:
- looks like rice water.

Smell:
- smells like a subtle version of Johnson's baby cologne (original one)

Comments:

Pros:
- did not cause breakouts.
- good at removing dirt and makeup residue on your face.
- doesn't make my skin oily after a few mins. like other toners I've tried.
- doesn't feel sticky and it doesn't make your skin feel tight after applying this.
- feels like water.
- smells good.
- full size packaging of this looks simple, but elegant.

Cons:
-those who don't like a glass bottle packaging, this is not for you.

It's your preference if you want to use a toner or not. All I can say is that a toner (especially if the packaging is cute, smells great and feel good) is nice to have, but it's not a necessity to have.

***I'm not sure about the "pore tightening" ability of the Mini Size U line because I don't have large pores ever since I had a few sessions of facial diamond peel.

Would I be purchasing again?
- Probably, but I already purchased the Missha Rose Water skincare line. They have a BUY1TAKE1 sale until last day of April 2011 (I think). I will be using those next after I'm finished with the Mini Size U...then I want to try the Etude House Pure Joy skincare line for sensitive skin.

Review: Skinfood Avocado Rich Eye Balm

I bought this a few months back when Skinfood was having their 50% off sale on selected items...As the Phil. beauty consumers know that the prices of skinfood here are jacked up, I took the opportunity of their sale, but the problem is, after looking at my receipt again to check on the price, I assume they "forgot" to give me the discounted price of my purchases...oh well, I can't go back there and ask them about "my situation" anymore. Well, I've learned my lesson.

Skinfood Avocado Rich Eye Balm
As always cute packaging

"Discounted" Price when I bought it:
P675.00 (from the price alone, I regret buying this product. This is not a high end product, but the price is still quite steep.)

I don't know the exact amount of product that is in this tub, but it looks bigger than the average eye creams in the market.

Smell:
has a citrusy/herby scent to it. It doesn't smell like an avocado...not even close.

Consistency and Texture:
thick consistency (feels like a balm as stated on the product name) and rich texture.

Comments:
Pros:
- really does moisturize the under eye area leaving the skin soft.
- has a lot of product in one tub.
- a little goes a long way.
- did not cause any kind of bad reaction.
- great for people that has a really dry under eye area.

Cons:
- don't really like the smell especially when it is already blended...it smells kinda funky afterwards. it's weird.
- if you put on too much, it will feel sticky and oily.
- if you expect it to lessen wrinkles and fine lines, this is not for you.
- doesn't absorb well into the skin. You can still feel there is still something :"left" on top of the skin.
- expensive for a so-so product.

Swatch:

partially blended

blended

***I already gave this to my mom after using this for a few months (there's still a lot of product left in the tub) because I don't really like the smell of this everytime I use it.

Review: Celeteque Facial Moisturizer

I can still remember what my dermatologist has told me, "you only need to put on moisturizer when NEEDED." meaning, I only have to apply it on dry areas of my skin since almost the whole area of my skin is oily already.

After quite a traumatic experience with almost a full blown breakout, I've learned my lesson to not (ever) believe in what almost all people in the world believes..."You still need to apply moisturizer even if your face is already oily"...Yeah, I've heard that many times before...and I'll slap myself if I will believe that shit again.

Now that my acne is under control and my scars have faded immensely from how horrible it looked like in the beginning, I'd rather believe my dermatologist and my gut feelings, thank you!

Now, the question is, what moisturizer will I use that is non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, oil-free, especially formulated for sensitive skin, no coloring added and affordable? Many people would say Cetaphil, but I tried that in the past and all I can say is, we're really not meant for each other...hehehehe!

So, temporarily, Celeteque would be my moisturizer for now.

I only bought the smallest one (50ml) for only P149.00 (I think) in Watson's
They also have bigger sizes of this, but because I use moisturizer sparingly, this little tube lasts quite a long time on me.

Other information that you would like to know:

Directions
it's good to know that they also indicated the expiry date unlike other products in the market.

 Brief Description

Ingredients:
I know, some of the ingredients are quite alien to some of us, so just ask Mr. Google.

Comments:
Pros:
- did not cause any bad reactions/breakouts.
- feels like you're applying water on your face.
- non-comedogenic
- fragrance free
- hypoallergenic
- no color
- not sticky
- dries into a matte finish...it looks like you did not put any kind of moisturizer on.
- moisturizes and calms my skin when it's irritated.
- affordable

Cons:
- it's just a simple moisturizer..that's it. If you're looking for any kind of anti-aging, whitening and all of that hokus pokus of pure awesome-ness, you're not going to find it here sorry.

Review/Blabber: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Complete UV Waterlight Lotion SPF 50+ PA+++ and My 2 Cents about Organic and "Non-organic" Skincare

As some of you know, I have to change my skincare completely because of my skin condition and my very complicated skin type which makes it harder to find a product in the market that will suit me.

So far, I've already found my current skincare products: (which I will have to review individually soon)

moisturizer (which I think I will use and re-purchase for a long time because I love it)
facial wash (which is quite good and I've already grown to love it)
exfoliating wash (which is really gentle on my skin)
acne treatment
mask

and SUNSCREEN (the hardest to find because you don't know if it will suit your skin or not.)

The only skincare I haven't found yet that suits my skin is toner. I still don't know if I'll be needing it or not.

But first, I'll only be reviewing my CURRENT SUNSCREEN. I'm emphasizing CURRENT here because up to now, I still have mixed feelings about this sunscreen. Don't worry! It did not gave me any kind of bad reaction and it works very good actually, but I don't feel that this will be my HG sunscreen.

Originally, I've been recommended by my derma to try Cetaphil suncreen, but as some of you know, I don't like the feel of Cetaphil on my skin. I've also researched reviews about this and it is actually a very good sunscreen too, but comparing the performance of Neutrogena and the Cetaphil...I think they are just the same. The only downside of Cetaphil (P800-P900+) is that it is more expensive then Neutrogena (P460)

So for now, I'll keep on using and purchasing Neutrogena because I'm on a budget too.

Here is the packaging:

This Neutrogena sunscreen line has 2 variants, one for dry skin and one for oily skin. I chose this one for oily skin. It comes in only one size with the variant for dry skin being a bit bigger than this one. You don't really need much to apply this on the face so it's ok that it has a quite small packaging.

here's a picture showing you how to use it, store it, etc.

the description of the sunscreen.

The ingredients...I know some of you may freak out like "OMG! there are so many chemicals in there, blah blah blah...Organic is always better crap line" Pls. be more open minded about products. This has almost the same ingredients with Cetaphil (which is specifically made for SENSITIVE skin).

I'm not against using organic products because I use organic stuff too! but using organic stuff doesn't always mean that it's already ALWAYS safe to use. I just want everyone to be more open minded and not be one sided about things. I've studied Pharmacology and Toxicology for quite sometime now and I was surprised to see MORE poisonous things coming from PLANTS than from VENOMOUS ANIMALS combined!! These mix of ingredients will not be created if there is a very very very big possibility that it will kill you. Well-known skincare companies may be money-hogging opportunists, but I don't think they are dumb enough to go on a suicidal jump and give us products that are not relatively safe...I can't say anything about the not-so-well-known ones though..

and... People should also be cautious about organic products that are jam-packed with combinations of oh-so-good organic plant-based ingredients because you won't know if the combination of these products may have a good or bad reaction to our body. It's understandable and believable that it will work if you are using ONE plant by-product that has its specific kind of benefits to your body, but have you thought about it's pharmacodynamics if it's combined with another plant by-product?

We always have to remember that EVERYTHING IN EXCESS, MAY IT BE GOOD OR BAD FOR US IS STILL BAD.

and don't get me started on organic, plant-based products are "cruelty-free"....Oh c'mon! stop making me laugh!

Anyway, here's the swatch:

very watery like it's description.

and once it's blended...

beautiful matte finish.

Comment:
- quite affordable compared to other sunscreen with oil-free, matte formula (P460)
- has a matte finish
- blends and absorbs easily.
- did not give me any new breakouts or any kind of bad reaction.
- controlled my oils at bay for at least 6 hours which is great!
- did not leave any white cast on my face.

So far, so good....

Collective Mini Hauls: makeup and skincare

I've been a very controlled spender this past 2 months because of 2 reasons:

1.) I've been investing my money on my skin treatments from my dermatologist and so far, even though I'm very low on cash at the moment and visiting my derma every 2 weeks is already killing my wallet, I'm happy with the results that I'm getting from my treatments.

2.) I don't want to put on too much makeup nowadays. One mistake I've made in the past when I still have a very clear skin is that I shouldn't have used any kind of foundation even bb cream because I don't need one. Sunscreen and a bit of powder will do.

So because of that, I've been spending more on necessities, but I still find a budget to buy my favorite makeup which are lipsticks and some eyeshadows.

I bought 2 things from Watsons which are my only necessities so far besides the prescription products from the derma. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Complete UV Waterlight Lotion SPF 50+ PA +++ (P460.00)
and Celeteque Facial Moisturizer (P129.00)

So I bought a dry-touch sunscreen from Neutrogena for oily skin and so far, I don't have any kind of bad reaction to it. Thank God! I was recommended to purchase a Cetaphil Sunscreen, but I've read reviews about it that it can be quite oily after a few hours on the face. I don't like oily stuff. (will do a review on this)

I also bought Celeteque Water-based moisturizer for sensitive skin instead of Cetaphil which again I don't like and I'm glad that I followed my gut to buy this. I'm happy and content with it so far. (will do a review on this)

and my biggest splurge so far...
My Urban Decay  Alice in Wonderland I bought online for P4300.00 (shipping included) it's very expensive that I'm quite content to not buy another palette for now.

then I bought an ELF powder brush online from digitaltraincase which is sold at P235.00 (yes, it's more expensive to purchase ELF here in the Philippines) because there were so many great reviews about it 'till now. I always let a hype die down first before I will know if the product is really worth buying and in this case I guess it is worth it.

and another addition to my lipstick collection are my red lipsticks (P160 each) from NYX and a Megashine lipgloss (P260) which I also bought online from digitaltraincase. (swatches will be shown in the near future)

Review: Avon Naturals Rice Cleanser

Just going to make a short review about this cleanser that I have used way, way back even before I started using the Avon Rejuvenate line (which was a big fail to me)...

Avon Naturals Rice Cleanser
I'm always a sucker for any skincare product that has an ingredient with rice in it because rice is said to have brightening and smoothening effect on skin.

My original plan was that I really, really want to buy The Face Shop Migamsu Brightening Rice Cleanser because I've already tried the sample size of it and I love how it made my skin smooth and quite alive (because I have sallow skin)...I'm really going to buy that in the future...

On topic again!!!

When I saw this Avon Rice Cleanser in the brochure of my sister with it's introductory price of P99, I bought it right away...what have I got to lose right? but here's the outline of what I think about it.

Comment:
- very affordable P99...I think it's currently already sold at P120
- it cleans quite well.
- it's only a mediocre cleanser...nothing special about it.
- has a very similar smell as the Ponds facial cleanser which is surprising and annoying at the same time because I don't like Ponds.
- white, creamy consistency...very foamy...

Cons:
- quite drying on the skin, so you really have to put on moisturizer after.
- don't like the smell.

Would I purchase again?  No, sorry.

Here's what it looks like:

white, creamy consistency

Ingredients, Directions and Description of the product:

just click on the picture to enlarge

All in all, it's nothing special...That's it.

My Skincare Update and Rant

Before I start my rant, I would like to inform you readers that just because this product did not work for my skin, doesn't mean it will not work on you too and vice versa.

As you all know (if you've been reading my blog), I bought the Avon Rejuvenate line February this year and started using the skincare line April this year after I've finished up my Nivea day and night creams (which are also a big fail).

During the first few tries of the products, I thought it was fine. I did not have any breakouts, my skin was soft, etc. My only complaint about this product was that it made my face bit oily after 1-2 hours and it slides off my face and feels a bit uncomfortable during hot weather.

Even though my gut is telling me not to use the products anymore because it's making my face oily (which I hate so much!), I still continued to use it thinking that maybe my face is oily because I started using the Avon Rejuvenate line during the summer months.

Now it's already July and 1 typhoon (Basyang) has past this week....I give up....I stopped using the Avon Rejuvenate line yesterday (July 14, 2010). I noticed that my skin was slowly turning from bad to worse.

Normally, I have combination skin (normal-oily), but now, my skin has turned to super oily.

Normally, I don't have large pores on my cheeks, but now, I can see my pores!! F***!!!

Normally, I have (quite) clear skin and don't have major breakouts unless it's the time of the month and when I do have breakouts, it's usually on my forehead..never on my cheeks and chin....Now, I just had 3 pimples on my chin, 4 on my forehead, 2 on my upper lip...WTF!!!

Yep! I'm so pissed!!!

Good thing those products works great on my mother so I'll just give the whole Avon Rejuvenate line to her.

Now, I'm starting to use the Freesky Pearl Cream that my mother bought from China. With a cream that expensive, it freaking better be worth it..or else..

Review: Etude House Total Age Repair Set

I've already used up all of the product in the EH Total Age Repair set after I've finished my Skinfood Freash Juice C line and even before I've started using the Nivea face creams (which I've reviewed before this) and I've decided to make a review about it just now..lazy me.

Date I bought it: last year even before Etude House opened here in the Philippines last December.

Price: bought it online for P100 (sample set) and yes, we buy samples here...kinda sad to think about something that's supposed to be free...

Duration of use: finished within 2 months (Nov-Dec 2009)

Smell: all of the products have a herbal smell...more on the "Tander Cats"/ Mature lady (a.k.a old lady smell)...my husband commented on the smell immediately after I've applied it on my face...He was laughing so hard because I smell like an "old" lady...I was like...whatever...as long as it's effective...

Etude House Total Age Repair Activating Toner

What it looks like: no color, watery in consistency (just like your regular toner w/o color)

Comments:
- cleanse/tones quite well w/o drying your skin. Other than that, nothing really special about this.

Etude House Total Age Repair Royal Serum

What it looks like: slightly milky white, gel-like consistency

Comments:
- absorbs quite well in the skin.
- doesn't feel oily.
- leaves my skin smooth and quite radiant (quite surprised by this.)
- helped minimize my fine lines under my eyes even if it's just temporary. ( I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes.)
- did not broke out from using this.

Etude House Total Age Repair Activating Emulsion

What it looks like: slightly milky white, watery consistency

Comments:
- I only use this every morning before the serum. For me it is enough to moisturize my face. If I also use the cream w/ the emulsion, my face will become an oil mine in no time.
- good moisturizer
- helped in making my face smooth and quite radiant.
- did not broke out from using this.
- takes awhile before it absorbs completely in my skin.

Etude House Total Age Repair Royal Cream

What it looks like: cream colored, but it has a mix of gel-like/cream consistency.

Comments:
- takes awhile to absorb in the skin.
- I only use this at night because it can moisturize quite well on its own.
- help make my skin feel smooth and quite radiant.
- If you use this in the morning (in a tropical country), your face will most likely feel sticky and a bit oily.
- did not broke out from using this.

Hope this brief review helped. (^_^)

Review: Nivea Visage Sparkling White Whitening Day Care (Age Control) and Night Care (Cell Renewal)

Even if the title is quite long, I've got little to say about these 2 products.

I bought this after using up all of my skinfood skincare products and the sample set of Etude House Total Age Renewal line (have to make a review on this too).

I remember I was on a tight budget and in need of a moisturizer for day and night. So I tried these Nivea visage moisturizers because it's affordable...I really don't believe in all the hype about whitening creams and cell renewal creams in a bottle, but I need some moisturizer asap.

NOTE: I've already finished up these moisturizers last march. I've used these products religiously for 3 months.

> Nivea Visage Sparkling White Day Care (Age Control)

Price: P100-200+ (I can't remember the exact price..sorry)

What it looks like: white, semi-gel-like consistency (has lighter consistency than the night cream)

Smell: I really can't describe, but it's quite pleasant.

Comments:
Pro:
- it did moisturize my face.
- affordable.
- I think it has spf 15
- absorbs quite easily.

Cons:
- no whitening effect nor any age control thing (as if you can control the inevitable..not really expecting any of the hocus pocus...)
- melts off easily during a warm weather which is..um...everyday. I don't think the spf thing will be useful if the cream melts off your face easily.

> Nivea Visage Sparkling White Night Care (Cell Renewal)

Price: P100-200+

What it looks like: very white, almost pasty thick cream

Smell: can't exlpain...quite pleasant.

Comment:
Pro:
- affordable.

Cons:
- quite hard to spread bec. it's quite pasty. I don't know if it's just me...
- it moisturizes my face TOO MUCH almost to the point of being oily. Take note that I have a normal to oily skin (combination) (I'm really not looking forward to using this every night...I just have to because I have a tight budget at that time)
- how do I know if the cell renewal worked? can't comment on this.

I'm just glad that I've already finished those up...(^_^)

Review: Skinfood Fresh Juice C Line (except the Fresh Juice C Emulsion)

Lucky, I have time to blog again before I continue to review my subjects for the board exams...(^_^)

I'm going to review the products I've already finished using like The Skinfood Fresh Juice C line....I've already finished these up late last year (as you can in the picture, I've already finished everything up)...I was just...too lazy to make a review about it...hahahha!

As I remember, the SA said that the Fresh Juice line has brightening effects on the skin at the same time, it hydrates and moisturizes. It also suits Combination type of skin which I have...

Even if I don't believe what the SA said because there will NEVER be a MIRACLE PRODUCT (I always do not believe what all the SA says..I always do my own research and experiments..LOL), I bought it w/ the serum because I was in a good mood...hahahaha!

Fresh Juice Toner
Where I bought: Skinfood store in SM Northedsa
Price: P1500+ (forgot the price...bought it early last year)
How to use: I use this after I wash my face. I use a cotton ball to apply the product.
What does it look like: no color, semi-watery consistency
PRO:
- it took away the dirt from my face at the same time moisturizes my skin.
- has a citrus smell (like orange) which is not over powering.
- it DID help brighten my complexion (not WHITEN)...It made me look like I had a good night's sleep.
Cons:
- it's expensive for a toner
- it felt a bit sticky on the skin especially when the weather is warm, but I use this in an air-conditioned room.
- it absorbs quite slowly in the skin.
- it broke me out on my first few uses because it took time to adjust with my skin, BUT after the first few uses, my skin was A OK!!!
- it can't remove leftover makeup that well. (to think I don't like heavy makeup on myself)

Will I buy it again? I don't think so..

Fresh Juice C Serum (whitening care)
Where I bought: SM Northedsa
Price: P1500+ (forgot the price..sorry)
How to use: Apply this after using toner. I only use this every morning because it is not sticky.
What does it look like: whitish gel-like color, semi-watery consistency
Pro:
- it DID help brighten my complexion
- it absorbs quickly in the skin.
- has a citrus smell that is not overpowering.
- it is not sticky.
- it hydrates my skin quite well.
- a little goes a long way.
Cons:
- expensive
- it also took time before my skin could adjust to the product.

Will I buy this again? maybe

Fresh Juice C Cream

Where I bought: from an online seller (thelittlecoolshop)
Price: it is currently P800 (wow, it's getting expensive every year...)
How to use: Apply this after using an emulsion. I personally did not buy the emulsion because it may be too oily or sticky on my face (tried it when I visited the skinfood store) if I use so many products at one time...(it's bad to use too many products at one time ya know....). I only use the cream at night.
What does it look like: white in color, gel-like consistency
Pro:
- smells citrus-y, but not overpowering.
- great at hydrating and moisturizing.
- feels light on the skin.
- helped brighten my complexion.
- a little goes a long way.
Cons:
- expensive
- took time to adjust to my skin
- I can't use it in the morning because it feels sticky because of the warm weather...it's always warm here in the Philippines.

Will I but this again? maybe. I want to try the other skincare lines next time..when I can afford it again...
